Mandarin orange fruit salad
Ingredients
- 1pkg. orange gelatin
- 1 pkg. lemon gelatin
- 1 c. boiling water
- 3 cans mandarin oranges
- 1 lg. can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
- 1 pkg. miniature marshmallows
- 1 med. carton whipped dairy topping
- 1 c. mayonnaise
- 1 c. grated sharp cheese
Preparation
To prepare mandarin fruit salad, dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. Add oranges and pineapple, including the juices. Pour into 2-quart dish. Spread miniature marshmallows over the top of warm mixture. Cool and chill until firm. Mix whipped topping and mayonnaise, and spread over set gelatin. Sprinkle cheese over top and chill for 2 hours or longer.
